The JRMC Auxiliary Board Meeting was held along with the JRMC Auxiliary 56th annual Meeting Luncheon at the Jefferson Professional Center II building with President David Hutcheson presiding.

The JRMC welcome was given by Debbie Tole, volunteer coordinator. Hutcheson gave the auxiliary welcome. The auxiliary prayer was by everyone.

JRMC Auxiliary members contributed 10,196,025 hours of Volunteer Service in 2016, according to officials.

The members had lunch served by JRMC employees. During the luncheon, Keith Savage, with his words of encouragement, performed songs like, “It’s a Lovely Day,” and “It Was Just My Imagination.”

The slate of officers was accepted, including President Eula Liddell, President Elect Emma Williams, Recording Secretary Michelle Noble, Corresponding Secretary Shirley Johnson, Treasurer Shirley A. Jacob, and Parliamentarian David Hutcheson.

The officers were installed by the Barbara Goodwin, vice president of the Arkansas Hospital Auxiliary Association. Hutcheson gave words of encouragement and reported that the auxiliary was approaching $30,000 in donations.

Also, in attendance was JRMC Chiefe Executive Officer Brian Thomas. Thomas thanked all the volunteers for their service to the hospital during the years.

Lapel pins were awarded to 41 participants for their volunteer service hours. The 2016-2017 Auxilian of the Year, Mary Moore, was announced and presented a plaque in appreciation of her service.

Debbie Tole reminded members that the board agreed in the last meeting to donate funds to the redecorating of the Jefferson Professional Center I office building. She also presented pins to the volunteers for the hours accumulated.
