The Disability Resource & Advocacy Center, 7300 Dollarway Road, Suite 111, at White Hall, will host a mock election for people with disabilities and discuss voting rights.


The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 18, and the sponsor is


Disability Rights Arkansas.


White Hall Mayor Noel Foster of White Hall and state Rep. Andy Mayberry, R-District 27, and will be guest speakers beginning about 11 a.m.


There will also be a voter registration drive and hot dogs and drinks will be served.


“Now, more than ever, we need people with disabilities to advocate for their continued health care,” a spokesman said in a news release.


“If you’re not a registered voter, come by D-RAC (Disability Resource & Advocacy Center) to register. If you’re unsure of your voting rights, come by to learn about your rights and responsibilities of voting,” the spokesman said.
