Belinda Redus Woods:
Belinda Gayle Redus Woods was born March 4, 1956 to the late Carl and Bessie Redus, Sr. in Pine Bluff, Ark. Her brother Curtis Redus also preceded her in death.
Belinda attended Merrill Junior High School and graduated from Pine Bluff High School in 1974.
While living in Rialto, Calif., she was involved in an organization, The San Bernardino Black Culture Foundation for more than fifteen years. She was employed by Southern California Edison for more than twenty years.
On Tuesday, July 4, 2017 as the fireworks sparkled, God stopped the clock and Belinda quietly changed from time to eternity.
She leaves to cherish her memories- her son, Charles Woods III (Mychoal) of Birmingham, Ala.; a sister, Brenda Williams of Pine Bluff, Ark.; five brothers: Herbert Calhoun of Falls Church, Va., Carl Redus, Jr. (Trudy) of Pine Bluff, Ark., Leon Redus of Memphis, Tenn., Gerald Redus (Tuere) of Pasadena, Calif., and Richard Redus, Sr. of Pine Bluff, Ark.; and four grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held 2 pm Thursday, July 20, 2017 at Barraque Street Missionary Baptist Church, located at 1800 Pullen Street, Pine Bluff, AR.
LITTLE ROCK - Sallylu Holmes Kinslow, age 86, of Little Rock, died Monday, July 17, 2017.
Born at Pine Bluff on March 26, 1931, she was the daughter of the late William Cade Bunn and Hilda Osterholt Bunn. She was a graduate of Pine Bluff High School, and attended Texas State College for Women from 1949-1950. Mrs. Kinslow completed her education at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 1986, earning a Bachelor of Science in Education and a Bachelor of Arts in French.
Sallylu resided in Pine Bluff for many years. She married George Niemeyer Holmes in 1954, and he predeceased her in July, 1992. She later married William Kinslow in 2006 and moved to El Dorado, where she lived until Mr. Kinslow’s death in 2013.
While in Pine Bluff, she was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church, serving as organist and choir director, Sunday school teacher, and member of the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League. She was also a member of the Junior League of Pine Bluff and the Bess Jenkins Club. She became a member of Grace Lutheran Church after moving to Little Rock.
Sallylu loved hiking, swimming, travelling, visiting the beach, and the outdoors.
In addition to her two husbands, Sallylu was predeceased by a son, George Niemeyer Holmes, Jr. who died April 25, 1980 during a hostage rescue attempt in Iran; and her brother, Richard “Dick” Bunn.
Survivors include two sons, Richard “Rick” Holmes and wife Jeanene of Peachtree City, Ga., and James Douglas “Doug” Holmes and wife Debra of North Little Rock; two step-sons, Henry Kinslow and wife Ivory of El Dorado, and Charles Kinslow and wife Dona of Little Rock; her grandchildren, Cade, Tanner, Daniel, and Anna Holmes; and step-grandchildren, Page, Chase, and Rachel Kinslow.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, July 22, 2017, 10 a.m. at Graceland Cemetery at Pine Bluff. A memorial service will follow at 1 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church in Little Rock with Pastor James Walter officiating. The family will greet friends following the service in Parker Hall at the church. Arrangements are by Fuller Hale-South Funeral Services of Pine Bluff.

Mrs. Verlinda Everett Campbell, 62 of Pine Bluff, Ark. passed Saturday, July 15, 2017. She was born in Monticello, Ark. to the late Paul and Carrie (Hamilton) Everett.
She is survived by: Her Husband, Travis Campbell, two sons, Andrae Campbell and Gary Campbell all of Pine Bluff, Ark.; two daughters, Kimberly Saez of Ray City, Ga. and Cotrina Jenkins of Pine Bluff; five brothers, Wade Everett and Arthur Lee Everett both of Monticello, Early Jerry Everett of McGehee, Brown Lee Everett and Ray D. Everett both of Pine Bluff; three sisters, Earnestine Everett of Pine Bluff, Georgia Long of Kansas City, Kan. and Mae Simpson of Monticello, Ark.; Five Grandchildren; Three Great-Grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be 10 a.m., Friday, July 21, 2017, at Mt. Harmony Baptist Church by Dr. Robert Handley. Interment will be in Forrest Lawn Cemetery by Brown Funeral Home of Pine Bluff.
Her body will lie in-state Friday, 9:15 a.m., until service.
Visitation will be Thursday, 4 - 6:30 p.m., at Brown Funeral Home.

HOUSTON, TEXAS - Mrs. Georgia Lee Evans, age 94, formerly of Pine Bluff, Ark., expired in Houston, Texas on July 15, 2017. She was the wife of the late Rev. Horace James Evans.
Viewing will be from 10 am until 10:55 am. Funeral Services will begin at 11 am on Friday, July 21, 2017 at New Jerusalem Baptist Church, 1317 S. Texas St. Rev. Sidney Miller Pastor, Rev.
