Wyshawn Gaddy:

Wyshawn Raymond Gaddy passed on July 15, 2017. He was born April 3, 1976, the son of Marty Gaddy of Altheimer and United States Army Non-Commissioned Officer Patricia Ann Burton of Naples, Italy.

He leaves to cherish his memories his parents; his fiancee, Kissee Walker; paternal grandmother, Beatrice Gaddy; son, Devin Gaddy; two daughters, Anshae Taylor and Briana Smith; three brothers, Dr. Todd Smith, Junior Non-Commissioned Officer Michael Kruize, and Mark Kruize; two sisters, Marybeth Kruize Bass and Kelsa Gaddy; two devoted aunts, Talice Gaddy and Mary Burton Shelton and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral Services/Burial were held on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at Altheimer Community Cemetery in Altheimer, Ark.; Reverend Carl Shelton, Sr., Officiating.

Mary Dodd:

Mary Kathryn "Kathy" Dodd born April 15, 1944 to Mr. George Earl and Willie Mae Langston Harris. Kathy was reared and educated in the Pine Bluff School System. She was a 1962 graduate of Pine Bluff High School. Mrs. Dodd went to be with her family and our Lord and Savior on July 5, 2017. She passed peacefully and quietly at her home surrounded by her loved ones.

Kathy married Floyd Carroll Dodd on April 23, 1965 in Pine Bluff, Ark. He preceded her in death in 2008.

Loved ones she leaves behind are: 1 surviving sister, Alice Eubanks of Pine Bluff; only daughter, Salena Raye Carter (Eric Weaver) of White Hall; life partner, Ray Allen of Star City; 3 grandchildren. Candice (Randy) Covington of White Hall, Rayena and Kaytlyn " Katie" Carter both of White Hall; 2 great grandchildren, Spencer and Shannon Covington of White Hall; great niece, Rickie Renee Burt of Texarkana, Texas, whom she helped raise most of her life; 2 great nephews, Braydon and Isaac McGhee of Texarkana, Texas; an adopted daughter and partial caregiver, Geneva Thompson of White Hall.

Mother was cremated and a memorial will be planned for the near future.

Juanita Carter:

WHITE HALL - Juanita Carter, 91, of White Hall, Ar., passed away July 20, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents Ben & Ada Daniel, 10 siblings and husband of 48 years, Joe Carter.

Juanita taught for the White Hall School District for 37 years and was a member of First Baptist Church, White Hall.

Survivors include son, Wayne (Kay) Carter of East End; daughter, Ann (Johnny) Brigham of Dumas; brother, Billy Pat (Gloria) Daniel of Dumas; grandsons Trey (Jessica) Brigham of Bryant, Jody (Clarissa) Carter of East End, and Jeremy (Amy) Carter of Bailey, Colo.; 2 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Monday, July 24 at 2pm at First Baptist Church, White Hall. Visitation will be one hour before the service in the church lobby.

Sarah Weatherford:

DIAMOND CITY - Sarah Offutt Weatherford, 42, of Diamond City, Ark., died Thursday, July 20, 2017.

Born February 27, 1975 in Pine Bluff, she was the only child of Jimmy Rex Offutt and Kay Monette Mosley Offutt.

Sarah was reared and received her early education in Pine Bluff, graduating from Pine Bluff High School in 1993. During high school, she was a member of the Jr. Social Club and Pollyanna Club. She also worked at Oak Park Animal Hospital and OMI.

After high school, she attended UCA before working at Dr. Kim Garner’s Family Clinic and Little Rock Foot Clinic as a receptionist.

Sarah was a sweet and spiritual soul and a lifelong member of Wesley United Methodist Church. She enjoyed cooking and trying new recipes.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Rex and Tillie “T.J.” Offutt and maternal grandparents, James and Delma Cheshier; and her Aunt, Belinda Mosley Pierce.

Survivors include her husband, John “Skinny” Weatherford, whom she married June 28, 2013 in Pine Bluff; her parents; her Uncle and Aunt, Ray and Pam Offutt; Aunt and Uncle, Lynn and Claudia Offutt Gray; cousin, Katy Gray Fancher; and many loving friends and family.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m., Monday, July 24, 2017 in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son with Reverend Ray Cuthbertson officiating. Visitation will be Monday afternoon from 1 p.m. until service time at Robinson’s.
