The Bud Cup Golf Tournament between Pine Bluff Country Club and Harbor Oaks Golf Club will be held this weekend, Aug. 26-27.
The ceremonial tee-off will be at 8:45 a.m. Saturday at the Pine Bluff Country Club with Tommy May, chairman of Simmons Bank Foundation, teeing up on behalf of the group.
The tournament will continue Saturday at the Pine Bluff club and Sunday at Harbor Oaks Golf Club. The event is comprised of 50 golfers who qualified during the season, according to a news release.
“The tournament represents the re-birth of an event that had been held with the former Rosswood Country Club and Pine Bluff Country Club in years past,” according to the release. “The tournament is called the ‘Bud Cup,’ sponsored by MK Distributors Inc., and is intended to grow the game of golf and encourage participation for golf activity in Pine Bluff with both clubs having wonderful amenities and competition.”
