STAR CITY – Lincoln County Citizens Coalition will host a community meeting to discuss the proposed millage increase for the Star City School District.
The meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 5, at the Westside Baptist Church fellowship hall. Assistant Superintendent Nathan White will discuss the proposed millage increase that will be on the ballot Sept. 19.
“Please plan to attend this very important event and come with a few questions in mind for our school representatives,” a spokesman said in a news release.
LCCC is a community-based group that encourages citizens to get involved in organizing, social justice issues, advocacy, and electoral engagement at the local and state levels, according to the release.
