WILMAR - Joe T. Huskey, age 76 of Wilmar, went to his heavenly home on September 13, 2017 at his home after a long battle with Parkinson’s Disease. He was born May 13, 1941 in Drew County, Ark. to the late Roy and Reba Montgomery Huskey.

He was a Christian and member of Green Hill Community Baptist Church. Joe was a pipeline foreman and equipment operator for over 35 years until his retirement in 2003.

Survivors include his wife, Linda McCullough Jones Huskey of Wilmar, to whom he married on December 5, 1994; his children, Joe (Andrea) Huskey of Monticello, Don Huskey of Monticello, Kim (Sharon) Densmore of Wilmar, Wendy (Chris) Ray of Monticello, Susan (Gene) Hartsfield of Pine Bluff, Donna (Dennis) Robinson of Jefferson and Enola (Rich) McDonald of Alma; two brothers, Roy Wayne (Bimbo) Huskey and Billy Huskey both of Wilmar; three sisters, Dona (Ed) Shulte of Little Rock, Joy (Hubert) Knight of Crossett, Betty Pace of Wilmar and Kathy (Jerry) Johnston of Monticello; fourteen grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and three very special caregivers, Jewel Block, Diana Rhodes and Latoya Holmes.

Funeral Service will be 2 p.m. Friday, September 15, 2017 at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Chapel by Rev. Caleb Lane. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery. Luvenia Anderson

FLINT, MICH. - Luvenia Clay Anderson, 96, was born to to the late Jake Clay and Sarah Holden Clay. She passed away September 9, 2017 in Flint, Mich.

She is survived by two sons and four daughters.

Funeral services will be 11 am Saturday, September 16, 2017 at Grace Temple Church in Pine Bluff by Charles Hellums, Jr.

Linda Henderson

STUTTGART - Linda Louise Waters Henderson, 73, of Stuttgart, passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2017.

She was born November 7, 1943, in Pine Bluff, to the late Duffea Waters and Evelyn Blasingame Waters.

Linda was reared and educated in Pine Bluff and graduated from Watson Chapel High School.

Mrs. Henderson was a member of Salem Missionary Baptist Church.

She was a homemaker and enjoyed caring for her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Lee Henderson, whom she married February 5, 1962 in Pine Bluff.

Survivors include her sons, Steven Henderson (Lisa) of Stuttgart, and Gregory Henderson of Little Rock; sister, Eloise Arledge of Wabaseka; three grandchildren, and one great grandchild.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Saturday, September 16, 2017 in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son with Reverend Howard Loetscher officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday afternoon from 1 p.m. - service time at Robinson’s.

Ethel Grissom

Mother Ethel Stafford Grissom, 86, of Pine Bluff transitioned on September 9, 2017 at JRMC.

She was born March 23, 1931, in Whitehall (Poinsett County), Ark. to the late Fred and Matilda (Shelton) Stafford.

She was educated in the Poinsett County School System and moved to Pine Bluff in 1949. It was there she became a homemaker, as well as an active role model in her church and community.

Her survivors include 11 children, Bernice, Daniel, Calvin, Alvin, Juana, Denice, Pam, Alvena, Phyllis, David, and Paula; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren, 1 greatgreat grandchild; two brothers, three sisters; a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A celebration of life will be held at 10:30 am, Saturday, September 16, 2017 at First Trinity COGIC with interment will in Forest Lawn Cemetery. A family hour will be held on Friday, September 15, 2017 from 6 – 8 pm at the church. Arrangements by Brown Funeral Home.

Her Body will lie in-state Saturday, 9:45 a.m., until service.

Dorothy J. Greer Davis, 60, of Pine Bluff, earned her wings on September 7, 2017. She was born January 21, 1957 to Thomas Hinton and Jerlean Rawls in Little Rock, Ark. and was raised by her adoptive parents the late Will and Elizabeth Holden.

She leaves to cherish her memories –parents, six children, three brothers, two sisters , twelve grandchildren, nine great-grand children and a host of other relatives and friends.

Maxine Alma Washington, 79, of Pine Bluff, passed September 6, 2017. She was born September 11, 1937 to the late Ruben and Sally White Washington in Eudora, Ark.

She was an agent for Henson Burial Association for nearly forty years.

Survivors include three sons, Terry Washington, Samuel Hill, and Kenneth Hill; daughter, Pamela Wade; brother, Harry Washington; two sisters, Dorothy Surrett and Emma Surrett; four grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 pm at New Community Baptist Church by Rev. George Barnes. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery by Henson- Holcomb Mortuary.
