Pine Bluff High School students recently attended the first African American Coalition of Arkansas Life Changing Summit at Little Rock.

The Rev. Jesse C. Turner, one of the summit organizers, introduced the keynote speaker, U.S. Rep. French Hill, R-Little Rock, of the Second Congressional District. Pine Bluff students also met with the congressman and shared their goals after graduating high school.

During the summit, students learned about locating scholarship funding and career opportunities. They also visited Little Rock Central High School Historic Site.

Students from Hall High School in Little Rock and Arkansas Baptist College also attended the event.
