Colored Classrooms Inc., a non-profit group working to support educators who teach children of color, will host a meeting. According to a press release, Colored Classrooms is a 501c3 non-profit organization.


The agency will host ROYAL (Reminding Our Youth About Leadership), from 5-6:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 2, at the Arkansas River Education Service Cooperative, 912 W. Sixth Ave. This will be the first official meeting for girls ages 7-12 to sign up. Parents must accompany the students.


The agency is seeking 30 girls who will commit to a year long process of academic intervention, civic leadership, community engagement and extra-curricular enrichment, according to the release.
