A Pine Bluff man who is currently on supervised probation for computer child pornography was arrested Friday after he told his probation officer that he had made approximately 100 contacts with juvenile females and would “sexual role play” with them.
Robert Moore, 39, entered a plea of guilty to computer child pornography on Aug. 30 and was sentenced to five years probation, plus fines and fees. As a condition of the probation, he was ordered to have no contact with female juveniles.
According to a probable cause affidavit presented in district court Monday, police received information that Moore had been using social media to contact juvenile females, and the same information was provided to his probation officer.
Pine Bluff Police Department Detective Marcia Oliver reported that when Moore reported to his probation officer, Brook Williams, on Friday, she checked his phone and found a photo of a penis that he said was his.
Moore also reported admitted making approximately 100 contacts with girls 13 to 18 using social media.
He allegedly said he “knew he was not to have contacts with females under 18 but he was addicted,” Oliver said in the affidavit.
Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set a $10,000 cash-only bond for Moore, who said he was homeless, after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge him with internet stalking of children.
The Public Defender's Office was appointed to represent Moore.
