Two Pine Bluff residents are among 13 people from across the state that the governor plans to pardon, according to a news release Monday from Gov. Asa Hutchinson’s office.

Willie B. Knight, who was convicted of possession of a controlled substance cocaine in 1995, and Sherri Oliver Wilson, who was convicted of criminal mischief in 1995, have completed all the terms and conditions of their sentences and there have been no further criminal law violations.

The press release said there were no law enforcement objections to either application.

An additional 46 applications were denied, including requests from inmates and non-inmates.

There is a 30-day waiting period to receive public feedback before final action is taken.
