Plans for the upcoming Christmas Luncheon and Festival of Tables will be finalized at the Pine Bluff Salvation Army Auxiliary meeting.

The auxiliary will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 14, in the fellowship room at the Salvation Army headquarters at 501 E. 12th Ave.

Linda Eifling, event chairwoman, will hear reports from luncheon committee chairmen. The luncheon will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 1, at the Great Hall of the First United Methodist Church.

Linda Minyard, Christmas chairwoman for the Salvation Army, will discuss the activities for which volunteers are needed, which include bell ringers for Nov. 24 when the auxiliary will participate in this activity at Super 1 Foods at 28th Avenue and Hazel Street.

Visitors and prospective members are always welcome at auxiliary, meetings, according to a spokesman for the group.

Dues are $10 annually and can be paid at the meeting. Anyone interested in supporting the work of the Salvation Army is invited to attend, the spokesman said. Monthly meetings are held throughout the year, except for the summer months, on the second Tuesday of each month, beginning at 10 a.m. at the Salvation Army headquarters.
