RISON - Dovie Jean Brimer Law, 79, of Rison, died Sunday, November 26, 2017.
She was born June 12, 1938 in Little Rock, daughter of Hershell Brimer and Beuna Vista Cummings Brimer Wiles.
Mrs. Law was reared and received her early education in Ark. and Calif., where she attended Richmond High School, in Richmond, Calif.
She moved back to Arkansas in 1970.
Mrs. Law was a member of White Hall First Assembly of God.
She worked at Greenville Elementary School as a cook for several years.
Mrs. Law was preceded in death by her husband, John Law; her parents; step-father, Mack Wiles; granddaughter, Rebecca Lowery; sister, Wanda Pratt; step-brother, John Wiles; and grandparents, George and Dovie McNeely Cummings.
Survivors include her son, Kenneth Kellum; three daughters, Jennie Aud of Woodlawn, Earline Hicks of Pine Bluff and Tracy Law of Pine Bluff; two sisters, Mary Clark of North Little Rock and Peggy Kesterson of Pine Bluff; two step-sisters, Joan Wiles of Rogers and Connie Wiles of Jonesboro; step-brother, Manoid Wiles of Atkins; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m., Thursday, November 30, 2017 at Good Faith Cemetery with Brother Dean Caldwell officiating. Visitation will be Thursday afternoon from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. at Ralph Robinson and Son Funeral Directors.

SHERIDAN - Marie Bailey Dismuke of Sheridan, Ark. was born to Everette and Ruth Bailey on June 20, 1933 in El Paso, Ark. She went to be with her Lord and Savior at Baptist Hospital on November 26, 2017. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. She loved to cook, sew, study the Bible and serve her church. She was a member of First Landmark Missionary Baptist Church, attended Grace Sunday School Class and was a member of OWLS. She graduated from Baptist Nursing School and received her LPN certification but, gave up nursing to work alongside her husband for over forty years as owners of Sheridan Auto Parts and Jim’s NAPA in Malvern. She was a life time member of Eastern Star where she served in many positions.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 56 years, Charles Dismuke, brothers, Glen and Bill Bailey and sisters, Pauline Tipton, Vida Mae Cates, Reba Robertson and Joyce Webb.
She is survived by son: Jim Dismuke (wife, Kim) of Sheridan; Daughter: Karen Dismuke of Sherwood; 3 grand-daughters: Alexandra Dismuke Harmon and Vanessa Dismuke of Mayflower and Presley Dismuke of Sheridan: Great-grand-children; Celeste, Thomas and Evangeline Harmon: Brothers: Calvin Bailey of Cabot and Allen Ray Bailey of Batesville, Sister: Sue Moody of Cabot and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be 10 A.M. Thursday, November 30, 2017 at First Landmark Baptist Church in Sheridan. Burial will be at Bethel Cemetery in ICO Community near Sheridan. Visitation will be Wednesday, from 6 until 8 P.M. at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in Sheridan. The family will be at 7380 West Ridge Circle in Sherwood.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Bailey, Roger Webb, Hubert Webb, Emery Way, Karl Witherow and David Webb.
The family would like to thank Sheridan Healthcare and Rehabilitation nurses and staff for their wonderful care, Dr. Marcia Erbland and the nurses at Baptist Healthcare Hospice for their care and compassion.

Emma Sue Kesterson, 82, of Pine Bluff, Ark., passed away Monday, November 27, 2017, in Pine Bluff.
She was born October 2, 1935, in Pine Bluff, to Everret Earl “Bo” and Mary Elizabeth White Fielding.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy D. Kesterson, whom she married on April 9, 1953; her parents and a daughter, Brenda Sue “Beba” Kesterson.
Survivors include a son, John Earl Kesterson (Sonya) of Victoria, Va., daughters, Vicky Marie Carnes of Victoria, Bobbie Lynn Kesterson of Pine Bluff; seven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren and many family and friends.

HORSESHOE BEND - Mark Wayne Garrick, age 51, of Horseshoe Bend, formerly of Pine Bluff, passed away Sunday, November 26, 2017.
Born February 10, 1966 at Pine Bluff, he was a son of Mrs. Billie Threlkeld Garrick of White Hall and the late Bobby Wayne Garrick. He was a 1984 graduate of Dollarway High School.
For over 30 years, Mark had worked on river boats. Starting as a deckhand for Pine Bluff Sand and Gravel Company, he worked his way up to pilot and then to captain. He was extremely dedicated to his work. At the time of his death, he was a tow boat captain for American Commercial Barge Line, and worked the Mississippi River from Cairo, Ill. to New Orleans.
Mark was a Christian and loved riding motorcycles.
In addition to his mother, survivors include a brother, Philip Garrick (Monica) of Pine Bluff; a sister, Monica Garrick McFalls (Alan) of Woodlawn; nieces and nephew, Jessica Branch, Landon Garrick, and Kadence Garrick; and two step-children, Bradie Ryburn and Brennon Ryburn.
Visitation will be Thursday, November 30, 2017, beginning at 1 p.m. at Fuller Hale-South Funeral Chapel. The memorial service will follow at 2 p.m.
