Pine Bluff Interested Citizens for Voter Registration Inc. will begin a Shoes for Kids Drive Monday, Dec. 4. Shoes can be dropped of at the ICVR office at the Donald W. Reynolds Community Services Center, 211 W. Third Ave., Suite 109.

“We ask the community to help us collect new shoes for kids who live in foster homes or shelters,” the Rev. Jesse C. Turner, executive director, said in a news release.

ICVR is seeking 200 pairs of shoes to be distributed Saturday, Dec. 23. The Shoes for Kids Drive will continue through the Martin Luther King Jr. federal holiday, Jan. 15, 2018, completing their first month of service.

The goal for this project is collecting 500 pairs of shoes for needy children. Details 870-730-1131.
