Divine Kitchen has reopened for business after having been closed for nonpayment of sales taxes. Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration spokesman Scott Hardin said Divine Kitchen is “currently in good standing with DFA. There are no outstanding tax issues or compliance issues. They are in good standing and operational.”
Hardin said he was not at liberty to share details regarding the restaurant in Pine Bluff. The Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration had closed Divine Kitchen at 2122 S. Blake St. in Pine Bluff last week. The business, which featured Smokin’ Train BBQ in its advertising and on its signs, had been located in The Pines mall and moved to its present location earlier this year when Arnold’s Catfish shut down.
