A Pine Bluff woman was killed in a two-vehicle accident in Lincoln County Thursday morning.
According to a preliminary report from the Arkansas State Police, Toni Love, 43, was attempting to cross U.S. 65 when the 2002 Subaru she was driving was struck by a 2004 Ford that was northbound. The accident occurred at the junction of U.S. 65 and Arkansas Highway 11 at 5:02 a.m.
State Police Cpl. Mitch Grant reported that the weather was clear and the roadway dry at the time. The preliminary report indicated that one person was injured but did not list any information for that person. The death was the 460th reported on the state’s highways so far this year.
