The Star City High School Art Club recently visited Memphis as part of an educational field trip involving art, history, music and science.

Students toured Graceland, home of Elvis Presley, the Brooks Art Museum, the Memphis Zoo, the National Civil Rights Museum, Central BBQ, and the Bass Pro Shops at the Pyramid.

The visit to Memphis was arranged by Star City High School art teacher Roger Darren High and chaperoned by high school science history teacher Chris Jones and Star City Middle School art teacher Jill Moore.

“The field trip provided our students with the opportunity to visit unique and historic sites in ways that would not have been possible in a classroom setting,” High said.
