These University of Arkansas at Monticello students recently became the first cohort to complete the National Strength and Conditioning Association’s (NSCA) Education Recognition Program, which recognizes schools with standardized, approved strength and conditioning or personal training curricula. Completion of the program prepares students to become certified personal trainers and strength and conditioning specialists.
The class was taught by Dr. Suzanna Guizar, an assistant professor of exercise science and an NSCA-certified personal trainer.
