Conway, Ark. -- Eunice Mae Bearden Quinn, age 83, went to be with the Lord on Monday, December 11, 2017 at Conway Regional Medical Center. She was born June 10, 1934 in Nashville, Ark., a daughter of the late Archie and Stacey Mounts Bearden. Ms. Quinn established and operated an in-home daycare center from 1962 until her retirement in 2004. She was also a faithful member of West 28th Street Church of Christ in Pine Bluff, Ark. Ms. Quinn loved her family and all of the children she raised in her daycare and will be missed by all who knew her. Her smile lit up any room that she entered.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Oliver Leslie Quinn, Jr.; a sister, Norene Roberson and a brother, Archie Bearden, Jr.

Ms. Quinn is survived by her son, Timothy Quinn of Conway, and her daughter, Debra Cash of Rogers; grandchildren, Leslie Disch of Bryant, Lora Cash of Benton, and Zach Quinn of Conway; great-granddaughter, Rylee Cash of Benton; brother Burley Bearden of Benton; and sister, Ozella Brummett of Little Rock.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Dierks Cemetery, in Dierks, Ark., There will be no visitation.

Cirlee Moland, Sr.

Mr. Cirllee "Pep" Moland, Sr., 82 of Pine Bluff, Ark., affectionately known as "Uncle Pep", was born the son of the late Sarah and West "Bubby" Moland on September 25, 1935. The youngest of three children, he departed this life on Sunday, December 3, 2017.

Cirllee leaves to carry on his legacy, a wife, Carrie L. Moland; three daughters, Audrey Gail Marshall and Curre Lenise Moland both of Star City, Ark.; Angie Larie Moland of Dolton, Ill.; Two sons, Cirllee Moland, Jr., (Lucy) of Pine Bluff, Ark. and Kevin Andre' Sanders of Star City, Ark.; One Sister, Annie B. Nicholson of Gary, Ind.; One he call con, Christopher L. Battles (Maki) of Jacksonville, NC; Nine Grandchildren; Four Great-Grand and a host of other relatives and friends. One of his special friends who was always right with him, Mr. Keith McReynolds.

Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 15, 2017 at Brown Funeral Home in Pine Bluff by Rev. Bill Davidson. Interment will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, Dec. 18, 2017 in Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.

Visitation will be 5:30-7:00 p.m. Thursday at Brown Funeral Home.

His body will lie in-state Friday, 9:15 a.m. until service.

Karl Kauffman

Karl F. Kauffman, 86, of Pine Bluff, passed away surrounded by his family, Tuesday, December 12, 2017, at his home.

Mr. Kauffman was born October 14, 1931, in Ypsilanti, Mich., the son of Kenneth K. and Alethia Keatley Kauffman. He was reared and received his education in Tucson, Ariz. He attended and graduated from the University of Arizona, where he was a member of the Pi Kappa Phi fraternity. After college, he served in the United States Marine Corp.

He married Thelma Snyder on November 19, 1954, in Memphis Tenn. Mrs. Kauffman passed away August 18, 2000.

Mr. Kauffman was a Federal Bank Examiner for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) for 35 years, retiring in 1992.

He is survived by his son, Thomas A. Kauffman of White Hall; daughters, Thelma Jane Kauffman (David James) of Little Rock and Sue Ellen (Johnny) Davis of Pine Bluff; three grandsons, Robert Karl (Nichole) Bruorton of Sherwood, James Karl Kauffman of Sherwood, and Steven Alan Kauffman of Washington D.C.; one great-grandson, Alexander Karl Bruorton of Sherwood.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Thelma Snyder Kauffman.

The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 P.M. Thursday, December 14, 2017,at Robinson’s.

Funeral services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials take the form of contributions to Shriner’s Hospitals for Children-Shreveport, Attn: Development Office, 3100 Samford Ave., Shreveport, LA 71103.
