Resiliency Empowerment Faith Overcomer (REFORM) Inc., a 501c3 non-profit organization, adopted a Pine Bluff family for Christmas and seeks help from the community.
Melrita M. Johnson, a licensed social worker, is president and founder of REFORM, which works to empower youth from 14-24 years old.
“For Christmas, we have adopted a family to provide items for the mom and her seven children here in Pine Bluff, Arkansas,” Johnson said. “Mom relocated here to escape a domestic violence situation from the father of the children and has very little.”
For those who would like to make a tax-deductible donation, the mother asks that they contact REFORM.
Items can be picked up by arrangement or dropped off at Trinity Annex Building, West Sixth Avenue and Catalpa Street. The agency plans to deliver items Friday, Dec. 22.
