The Jefferson Regional Medical Center Auxiliary will host a meet and greet for prospective volunteers. The event will be held from 2–4 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 11, in the JRMC front lobby.

The auxiliary will answer questions and share information about being a JRMC volunteer. They will also take applications for their volunteer program. Refreshments and door prizes will be available.

The auxiliary will also share information on a new safety awareness program created through the Arkansas Hospital Auxiliary Association. The program is called “Look Before You Lock,” and it aims to raise awareness about the dangers of leaving children in hot cars.
