REDFIELD - Flarrie Estelle “Flo” Wheeler-Willis, 99, of Redfield, Ark. went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, December 30, 2017. She was born on November 14, 1918 in Ashley Co., Ark. to Garner A. and Mary C. Davis Wheeler.


In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John Willis; brothers, Gus and Edison Wheeler; sisters, Irene Grettenberg and Mary Lewis; infant son, Daniel B. Boone; infant daughter, Francis K. Boone; granddaughter, Victoria Martin; great-grandson, Kyle Lydick and 3 son-in-law’s, Bruce Bailey, Bob Davies, and Billy Brantley.


She is survived by four daughters, Judy Brantley of Redfield, Janette Davies, Joanne Kelley (Carl), and Virginia Bailey all of Calif; one brother, Ted Wheeler of Benton; 11 grand children; 20 great grandchildren and 16 great great grandchildren.


Funeral service will be held at 11am Saturday, January 6, 2018 in the chapel of Cranford Funeral Home, White Hall, Ark. with Bro. Gene Murdock officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service at 10am. Interment will be at Union Ridge Cemetery in Monticello, Ark. Amos Cason


Jacksonville - Mr. Amos Johnson Cason, 70, of Jacksonville passed from this life on December 31, 2017. He was born January 19, 1947 in Grady, AR to the late Leander Cason and Eveal Davis Cason.


Amos confessed a hope in Christ at an early age in Grady, AR at Mt. Nebo Church. He graduated from C.P. Coleman High School Class of 1965.


Mr. Cason served his country in the United States Air Force, retiring after 24 years of service and was a Vietnam veteran. Amos loved traveling, having been to several counties, including South Africa, Cuba, Thailand and Jamaica.


He loved fishing and playing poker, but his greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Mamie Guy. He was married to Jamlong KnongPennit and from this union he had two children. Survivors include his daughter, Somporn Mollik (Lincoln) of Little Rock, AR; son, John A. Cason (Laytoya) of Scott AFB, Illinois; grandchildren Elijah Cason, Amir Cason and Jackson Smith. Other survivors include sisters Lucille Cason, Clair Gooseberry and Eveal Marks, all of Pine Bluff, AR, along with a host of nieces and nephews and friends.


Special honorary granddaughters-Summer Jenkins and Autumn Cook.


Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 6, 2018, at First Baptist Church, 811 S.A. Jones Drive, North Little Rock, AR with Pastor William L. Robinson officiating. Danielle La’Toya Shannon 42 of Pine Bluff passed away on December 31, 2017 . She was born February 6, 1975 to Mrs. Lola Shannon and the late Mr. Cecil Shannon Sr. She confessed her hope in Christ and was baptized at New Town Missionary Baptist Church. Danielle graduated in 1993 from Watson Chapel High School. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University Of Arkansas at Pine Bluff in 1999.


She leaves to cherish one daughter, Desiedra Shannon-Fitz, her mother Lola Shannon, two brothers Jerry King and Cecil Shannon Jr, Three Sisters, Beverly Jones, Janet Lambert and Gloria Tillman , and a host of other relatives and friends.
