The Pine Bluff School District will present the 2018 STEAM Fair at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 6, at the Pine Bluff Convention Center.

Projects will reflect topics and interests of STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics.)

More than 500 students from schools across the district will complete projects and display them at the STEAM Fair. Prizes will be awarded to the winners.

Anthony Long Jr., a certified surgical assistant at Jefferson Regional Medical Center, will be the keynote speaker. The High Voltage Dance Team of Little Rock and the Pine Bluff High School Band will perform.

“STEAM integrates the arts into science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, teaching scholars how to be innovative problem solvers,” according to a news release. “STEAM is a focus of learning at the Pine Bluff School District and the STEAM Fair is the celebration of learning, innovation and research.”
