The Pine Bluff Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. will present its 31st annual Delta Distinguished Gentlemen Banquet at 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 24, at the Pine Bluff Convention Center.

The sorority will introduce 33 outstanding young men at the event, according to a news release. The theme is “Increasing Visibility: Gentlemen Impacting Communities Through Service.”

The keynote speaker will be the Rev. Chris Mack of Pine Bluff, a former Distinguished Gentleman.

“The Distinguished Gentlemen program follows the principles of the sorority’s national initiative called EMBODI (Empowering Males to Build Opportunities for Developing Independence) and empowers young men to reach their highest educational, social, and emotional potential. The gentlemen participated in a variety of events and public service activities during the 2017-2018 year that will culminate in the formal banquet,” according to the release.

The event tri-chairs are Ora Reynolds, Nicolette Laurent, and Cassandra Smith. Kelly D. Bryant serves as the chapter president.

Tickets for the event are $40 and can be purchased through Sunday, Feb. 11. For details or to purchase banquet tickets, contact Nicolette Laurent at 870-413-6074.
