In a one-sided game, the Watson Chapel Lady Wildcats took an easy victory against the Little Rock Mills Lady Comets by a score of 69-13.

On Saturday afternoon, the make-up game between the two teams wasn't a long one.

A few starters for the Lady Wildcats, including Jerica Bell, Taylor Whitted and Wyvette Mayberry, accumulated the majority of the first quarter points for Watson Chapel.

The starters for the Lady Wildcats scored 21 unanswered points to begin the game.

After Mills got on the scoreboard with a free throw, the Lady Wildcats closed the quarter out on a 10-2 run and held a 31-3 lead heading into the second.

Reserves were subbed in for the Lady Wildcats after the first quarter, and the lead extended to 38-6 at halftime.

The second half was where the mercy-rule came into play, but the bench of the Lady Wildcats displayed the best of their ability to win the game.

Ky'Aria Ginger led all scorers with 16 points off the bench, and Jasmine Thomas added 10 points in the victory for the Lady Wildcats as well.

In a make-up game, which was needed due to inclement weather two weeks ago, the Watson Chapel Wildcats were defeated by the Little Rock Mills Comets on Saturday by a score of 82-59.

Mills started the game on a 7-2 run, but back-to-back baskets from Markevion Harris and Kaleb Hill found the Wildcats down 7-6 midway through the first quarter.

The two teams traded baskets, and Mills led 18-14 at the end of the first quarter.

Berkarion Black made a three-pointer early in the second quarter that had the Wildcats down 27-19.

After a free throw made by Kavon Mitchell for Watson Chapel, the Comets closed the quarter out on a 22-3 run to take a commanding 49-23 lead at halftime.

Mills picked up where they left off in the second half, outscoring the Wildcats 32-19 to take an 81-42 lead at the end of three quarters.

Harris scored all 10 points in the quarter for Watson Chapel, but the damage had been done and the Wildcats suffered a loss.

Watson Chapel was led in scoring by Harris, who had 16 points. Black followed with 11 points.

Grehlon Easter led Mills with 27 points and Branton McCrary added 20 points.
