Project SEARCH® Arkansas: ACCESS® Initiative, in partnership with Arkansas Rehabilitation Services, is coming to the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff campus.
According to a news release, “UAPB is excited to become a partner in this international program that assists young adults with disabilities — ages 18-35 — with finding employment.”
While at the UAPB Project SEARCH program, “individuals will have the opportunity to intern within three different areas of the college. Each of the internships will consist of 10 weeks of learning and training that will help participants develop the skills needed to gain competitive and integrated employment,” according to the news release.
The internship is unpaid and takes place August through May. Applications are due Wednesday, Jan. 31, and can be found at projectsearcharkansas.org. Details: Contact Director Jenny Adams at (501) 529-3139 or e-mail email@example.com.
