Arthur Karlin, 78, died January 25, 2018 after a short illness, with his wife at his bedside. He was preceded in death by his parents and two cousins. He leaves his wife in Pine Bluff, AR, a sister in West Palm Beach, and cousins in California, Virginia, Georgia, New York and Boca Raton behind.
All his life he was an educator imparting his knowledge unstintingly to his students. He taught accounting and taxation at UAPB in Pine Bluff, AR for almost 21 years. His BA was from NYU, PhD from the University of Illinois, law degree from University of Akron, and advanced law degree from NYU again.
Ruebel Funeral Home will arrange the transfer of his body from Little Rock to DeVol Funeral Home in Washington D.C. where he will be buried in Rock Creek Cemetery.

Donald Glen “Donnie” Allred, 72 of Pine Bluff, passed away at his home, Sunday, February 4, 2018.
Born February 26, 1945 at Pine Bluff, he was a son of the late Roger and Norma Thomas Allred.
A 1964 graduate of Dollarway High School, Mr. Allred retired as a carpenter from the Pine Bluff Arsenal in 2004 after several years of service.
“Pappaw Donnie” as he was better known in recent history always had a smile on his face and loved spending time with his family and friends.
After his retirement he kept busy with spoiling grandchildren and piddling with lawnmowers.
He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Sandra Craig Allred; son, Darrell Allred; daughters, LaTonya Neal (Archie) and Kimberly Donaldson (Jeremy); step-children, Pedro Chapman (Shanna), Dawn Heird, Stacy Hall (Chad), and Brian Chapman; sisters, Charlotte Allred, Jeanie Caldwell (Jimmy) and Paula Byrd (Buddy); brothers, Roger Allred (Theresa) and Noah Allred (Barbara); grandchildren, TJ, Devon, Addison, Kuri, Alex, Blake, Matt, Kelli, Britney, Trey, Madelyn, Felicia, Dustin and Tray; beloved dog, Tater; and many other loving family and friends.
Funeral services will be Thursday, February 8th, 10:00 a.m. at Fuller Hale-South Funeral Chapel with Brother Stephen Harrison officiating.
Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mary Carolyn Arrowood, 74, of White Hall, passed away Monday, February 5, 2018, at White Hall Nursing and Rehab.
She was born February 15, 1943, in Sheridan, to Charles and Mary Harrington Carson.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, J.W. Arrowood.
Survivors include her husband, Jimmy Arrowood, whom she married on January 6, 1983; daughters, Jennifer Henry (Edward) of Seattle, Washington, Elizabeth Tallent (Grady) of Pine Bluff, Tina Cooper (William) of Pine Bluff, Cynthia Gregory (Robert) of White Hall and Wendy Silva of Florida; son, Jack Bray (Fonda) of Greenbrier; twenty-four grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held 5-7 PM, Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at Ralph Robinson & Son.
There will not be a service at this time.
