All Called To Serve Outreach Ministry recently conducted an Arkansas Driver’s License Written Study Class with a group of children from the Department of Human Services.
The session was part of ACTS Life coping skills Education effort, according to a news release.
“This course was designed and instructed in a very innovative manner on how to pass the written driver’s exam,” according to the release. “Items stressed included the importance of studying the rules and regulations on safety.”
Arkansas State Trooper Justin Williams made a presentation and students also heard about operating various vehicles.
“The group was so impressed with his knowledge and presentation, they rated him as an excellent presenter,” according to the release.
Angela Johnson, Letreana Braswell-Jenkins and Lisa Murray escorted the children to the program Jan. 20.
“Many thanks to our volunteers, Ladessa McCain and Patricia Graves. We could not have done it without you,” according to the release.
More classes scheduled in the near future.
