The Pine Bluff Christian Women’s Connection will hold its monthly luncheon at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 22, at the Pine Bluff Country Club.

The speaker will be author and pastor Paula Abbot of Terrell, Texas.

“In her topic, ‘Condemned—Do Not Enter,’ she will share a beautiful story of restoration of a Texas cowgirl,” according to a press release. “With a history of abuse as a child and young adult, she will share how she went from shattered dreams to a beautiful life.”

Abbot is author of three books and pastors a cowboy ministry outside Dallas, Texas, with her husband. She teaches in that ministry as well as around the United States. Abbot has three children, two stepchildren and five grandchildren.

The feature at the luncheon will be the music of the Rev. Fred Arnold, Roger Minyard and Mac Bellingrath, all of Pine Bluff.

Decorations will be provided by Virginia Haertlein. The menu will consist of spaghetti and meatballs and Italian salad with “Death by Chocolate” cake with raspberry for dessert. The luncheon is $13.50 per person which includes the meal, tax and gratuity. Reservations or cancellations are to be made to Jennifer Keahey at 870-540-9302 by noon Monday, Feb. 19.

Whenever possible, participants are encouraged to find someone to fill their spots rather than cancel. For more information about Stonecroft Ministries or Christian Women’s Connection, visit www.stonecroft.org.
