Pine Bluff Mayor Shirley Washington, in conjunction with the Pine Bluff City Council and Go Forward Pine Bluff, will hold a working session at 9 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 15, in the City Council Chambers.


During this session, the mayor, City Council and GFPB members will have the opportunity to share ideas and become abreast of any projects and initiatives slated in the upcoming year. Washington plans to conduct working sessions regularly to keep dialogue open and information flowing, according to a news release.


“Our ultimate goal is to position Pine Bluff for growth and prosperity,” she said in the release. “In order to do that, we must embrace a common vision.”


According to the press release, Washington believes “that coming together is the beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success. We must remember that we are ‘One Pine Bluff Stronger Together.’”


The working session is open to the public.
