Plans for the upcoming Spring Membership Brunch and Fashion Show will be finalized during the Pine Bluff Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary meeting.
The meeting will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 13, in the fellowship room at the Salvation Army headquarters, 501 E. 12th Ave.
The brunch and fashion show will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 17, at the gymnasium of the Salvation Army, according to Warna Turner, membership chairwoman. Tickets are $5 each and can be purchased from auxiliary members or at the Salvation Army office. Auxiliary members should turn in money from sold tickets at the meeting, Turner said.
Visitors and prospective members are always welcome at auxiliary meetings, according to a spokesman for the group.
Dues are $10 annually and can be paid at the meeting. Anyone interested in supporting the work of the Salvation Army is invited to attend, the spokesman said. Monthly meetings are held throughout the year, except for the summer months, on the second Tuesday of each month, beginning at 10 a.m. at the Salvation Army headquarters.
