The Pine Bluff Fillies suffered a loss in their home opener to the Warren Lady Lumberjacks on Tuesday night by a score of 10-7.

Warren took an early 3-0 lead over Pine Bluff in the first inning, but Courtney Jackson would hit a three-run inside-the-park homerun to knot the game at 3-3.

The Lady Lumberjacks tacked on four runs in the fourth inning and later added three more runs in the fifth inning to take a 10-3 lead over Pine Bluff.

In the final inning, the Fillies scored four runs off three hits from Shay Davis, Courtney Jackson and Amari Washington.

However, the comeback fell short and the Fillies were defeated.

Jackson pitched for Pine Bluff, allowing six hits while striking out three batters. Jackson also led at the plate with a homer, including four RBI’s.
