The Watson Chapel Wildcat seniors ended their final home game of the season in fashion after defeating the Pine Bluff Zebras in five innings by a score of 10-0 on Thursday evening.

The Wildcats who were recognized for senior night were Gionti Turner, JaKobi Jackson, Jalyn Williams, Tyler Greer, Andrew Morgan, Garrett Dennis, Josh Pierce and Kaleb Hill.

Watson Chapel got on the board early in the first inning after Morgan reached on an error that would score Turner to give the Wildcats a 1-0 lead.

Markevian Hence pitched for the Wildcats and only allowed a few hits but with no runs throughout the game.

In the bottom of the fifth inning with the score the same, Watson Chapel scored nine runs to put the mercy-rule in effect and win the game.

Contributing to the big inning for the Wildcats included Randy Little Jr, Williams, Turner, Hill, Dennis and Kevin Compton, all of whom drove in runs.

Brandon Thomas got the start for Pine Bluff, going four and two-thirds innings, allowing seven hits and striking out two.

Hence went five innings, allowing three hits while striking out eight.

Cameron Crane, Wes Hunt and Chris Blunt Jr. all collected one hit apiece for the Zebras.

For Watson Chapel, Hill led with two hits in three at-bats.
