Girl Scouts – Diamonds of Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas will donate Girl Scout Cookies to Neighbor to Neighbor, 1419 S. Pine St., at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 2.
Dawn Prasifka, Girl Scouts – Diamonds chief executive officer, and local Girl Scout troops will make the presentation.
“As a thank you to the community and its support of Girl Scouts who participated in the Girl Scout Cookie Program this year, we’re donating Girl Scout Cookies to men and women of the military, local food banks, hospitals, and other worthy organizations across the state during Girl Scouts Give Back Week, April 30 – May 4, 2018,” according to a news release.
Donations will also be made at Little Rock, Fort Smith, Texarkana, Jonesboro and in Northwest Arkansas. Girl Scouts – Diamonds is a United Way partner agency.
“Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence and character, who make the world a better place,” according to the release.
Girl Scouts – Diamonds serves more than 7,900 girls and 3,700 volunteers. The agency encompasses all counties in Arkansas except Crittenden, includes Adair, LeFlore and Sequoyah counties in Oklahoma and Bowie and Cass counties in Texas.
