The Pine Bluff Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc. is hosting Senior Kappa Week through Sunday, May 20.
The fraternity began the observance Monday, May 14, with the “Business Sock Ministry” to collect business socks for young men in high school. New socks can be placed in a sock box until 5 p.m. Sunday, May 20, at the fraternity building, Koal to Diamond Center, 1911 University.

Wednesday, May 16 — 6-7 p.m. — “Colo-Care Project.” Members are partnering with Jefferson Regional Medical Center to provide test kits for signs of colorectal disease such as bleeding ulcers or hemorrhoids, diverticulitis, colitis or colorectal cancer, according to a news release.
Saturday, May 19 — 9 a.m. — Senior Kappa Breakfast. Senior Kappa brothers will eat free at the session at Divine Kitchen, 2122 S. Blake St. The theme will be “Dealing with Depression” and the speaker will be Dr. Stephen Broughton Sr., vice polemarch, according to the release.
Sunday, May 20 — ” Senior Prayer Minute.” Brothers are asked to pray for one minute at 19:11 asking for blessings for all Kappa Alpha Psi alumni and undergraduates’ families.
The Senior Kappa chairman is Lloyd A. Franklin Sr. and members are Lafayette Woods Jr., Lloyd A. Franklin Jr. Ray Walker and Gavin Brown.
