The White Hall Museum, 9009 Dollarway Road, will hold a Memorial Day Service, at 10 a.m. Monday, May 28.
The keynote speaker will be retired Col. Robert Ator II, the director of military affairs at the Arkansas Economic Development Commission (AEDC.)
“The position was created as a result of Gov. Asa Hutchinson’s focus on supporting and growing the state’s military installations and missions,” according to a news release. “Col. Ator recently retired from military service after serving as commander of the 189th Airlift Wing of the Arkansas National Guard, the largest Air National Guard C-130 Wing in the U.S.”
The program honors all veterans and a moment of remembrance will be held for the KIA/MIA of Jefferson County. The Pine Bluff Community Band will provide musical selections throughout the program.
“If you would like to place a memorial wreath at the Veterans Monument, you may do so before the beginning of the program,” a spokeswoman said.
