Bonnie McLean Canada, 82, of White Hall, Arkansas, formerly of Dyersburg, Tennessee, died Friday, May 18, 2018.

She was born August 14, 1935 in Ridgely, Tennessee, daughter of Jessie and Mable Murray McLean.

Bonnie was reared and received her early education in Memphis, Tennessee at Bellevue Junior High School and then attended one year at Central High School in Memphis. Bonnie graduated from Washington High School in Washington, New Jersey. Bonnie attended Cheycharay Business College in Pennsylvania.

Bonnie was married to Roger Canada from March 7, 1955 through October 24, 1979.

She was an active member of First Baptist Church of Dyersburg, Tennessee before moving to Arkansas.

Bonnie was devoted to her family. As an only child, she took care of her parents when they became ill. As a mother and grandmother, she devoted much of her time to raising her son and later taking care of her two grandchildren as long as she was able.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her son, Jay Canada and his wife, Tammie, of White Hall; and two grandchildren, Cade and Kennedy Canada, both of White Hall.

Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 5-7 p.m. at Cranford Funeral Home of White Hall.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, May 26, 2018 in the Chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg. Visitation will Saturday from Noon until service time at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Jesse Franklin

Mr. Jesse Lee Franklin, 50, of Pine Bluff, AR passed on May 14, 2018. He was born to the late Zeb Franklin and the late Earnestine Baker.

He leaves to cherish his memories to: six brothers and three sisters.

Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 24, 2018 at Pine Bluff Mortuary Co. Chapel, 1001 East 6th Avenue, Pine Bluff, AR, officiated by, Rev. Aaron Johnson. Interment will be in Forrest Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be Wednesday, May 23, 2018, 6 to 7 p.m. at the Pine Bluff Mortuary Co. Chapel.

Louise Monia

Mrs. Louise Monia, 78, of Pine Bluff, AR passed Tuesday, May 15, 2018. She was born on February 26, 1940 to the late Henry Adams, Sr. and Rosetta Hamton Adams.

She leaves to cherish her memories to: One Son, Gregory Adams of Lincoln, NE; Three Daughters, Jennifer Trottman of Pine Bluff, AR, Cathy Ann Haney of Euless, TX and Valerie Powell of Dolphin, VA; One Sister, Henrietta Adams Williams of Pine Bluff, AR; Six children; Four Great Grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m., May 24, 2018 at Pine Hill Baptist Church by Pastor Glenn Barnes. Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery by Brown Funeral Home of Pine Bluff, AR.

Emily Kelley

Emily Jean Kelley, 79, passed peacefully in the night to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 19, 2018. She was born in Grant County, Arkansas on August 18, 1938. She was baptized at age 13 in the Saline River and was a member of Sardis Baptist Church until her passing. She graduated Valedictorian at Grapevine High School in 1956. After graduating she resided in Pine Bluff, AR with her husband, Harold Oliger and daughters until she moved to Cleveland County, AR, in 1980. She later became a secretary for the Cleveland County Conservation District where she retired after 18 years. After retirement, she relocated to Cameron Parish, Louisiana to be near her family.

Emily was a loving mother and grandmother (Nanny). She enjoyed reading, playing games on the computer and playing cards but her greatest joy was spending time with her great-grandchildren.

Those left behind to cherish her memories are two daughters, Donna Lynn Oliger-Johnson (Doug) of Sulphur, LA and Kellie Jean Oliger McKoin (Buster) of Grand Chenier, LA. Seven grandchildren: Kris McKoin (Michelle), Keith McKoin (Chelsi) and Katie McKoin Armentor (Dustin) all of Louisiana, Jordan Johnson (Katie) of Clayton, NY, Jared Johnson (Kristen), Jameson Johnson (Megan) and John-Clark Johnson of Louisiana, previously of Rison, AR. Fourteen great grandchildren: Kace, Kenadie & Kallie Armentor, Madden, Mia Kate & Miller McKoin, Collin McKoin, Bridgette, Madison & Jeremiah Johnson, Chandler Johnson, Max Johnson, Camden & Mason Johnson. One brother, Rommie Kelley (Patricia), two nephews, two nieces, three great nephews and four great nieces.

Emily is preceded in death by her parents, Willis Emil and Gracie Lea (White) Kelley, her sister, Alice H. Rhodes and husband, Harold Oliger.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 from 6 - 8 p.m. and funeral services will be on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at 10 a.m., at Buie Funeral Home in Rison, AR with interment in Grapevine Cemetery at Grapevine, AR.
