White Hall Mayor Noel Foster and the city of White Hall will present a defense Industry Day observance Wednesday, June 6. Also, the Pine Bluff Arsenal will host industry day events June 6‐7.


At at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Governor Asa Hutchinson will give a keynote address at the White Hall Community Center, 9801 Dollarway Road, to promote the Arsenal’s military value and showcase Arkansas’ role in national defense, according to a news release.


“The Industry Day is an excellent networking opportunity for large and small businesses that are interested in partnering with the Pine Bluff Arsenal and establishing a presence in our community,” Foster said in the release.


Representatives from the Department of Defense’s Program Executive Office for Chemical and Biological Defense will provide an update on current military programs. Officials from the Arkansas Economic Development Commission, Jefferson County, and White Hall will provide information on economic incentives and ongoing initiatives, according to the release.

Arsenal events


The Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Defense (JPEO‐CBRND) and the Pine Bluff Arsenal (PBA) will conduct a CBRND Industry Day event June 6‐7 at the White Hall Community Center.


The main event will begin at 8:30 a.m. June 6. Industry day will bring in private industry (CBRND contractors and non‐traditional companies) to promote JPEO‐CBRND programs and highlight the need to consider partnering with the Arsenal, according to a news release.


Industry officials will have the opportunity to hear from the JPEO‐CBRND, the Arsenal, state and local officials, with a question and answer session on the first day and other transaction agreement (OTA) training on day two.
