FBT Bank & Mortgage has announced the expansion of its banking team in Jefferson County with the hiring of Joni Alexander, Ricky Ferguson and Shannon Robinson. Alexander will direct outreach efforts throughout Jefferson County. Ferguson will lead the loan division, and Robinson will hold the position of customer service specialist, according to a news release.
Alexander will develop and execute strategies that strengthen the bank’s community partnerships, the news release said. As former executive director of two local nonprofit organizations, she brings years of outreach experience in the Pine Bluff area to her new position.
She also has experience in city government as executive assistant (2016-2017) to former Pine Bluff Mayor Debe Hollingsworth. Ferguson, a 35-year banking veteran, will manage mortgage and other loans from initiation to close. He has held multiple positions in the banking industry, including loan officer, branch manager and vice president. Robinson will use her 20 years of banking experience to assist customers in selecting products and services that meet their individual needs.
“The acquisition of Ferguson, Alexander and Robinson reinforces our commitment to providing exceptional banking service in Jefferson County,” said Jim Hulse, FBT president and CEO. “Our focus on offering simple banking solutions is why we are thrilled about this team expansion.”
Alexander and Ferguson, both Pine Bluff natives, will have offices in the FBT banking center at 3400 S. Camden Road in Pine Bluff. Robinson will work out of the White Hall banking center at 7199 Sheridan Road. Leading this team is Craig Attwood, executive vice president and director of banking for Jefferson County. Attwood will relocate his office from the Pine Bluff branch to the White Hall location, the news release said.
