The U.S. Small Business Administration Arkansas District Office will hold free seminars in Southeast Arkansas.
SBA Arkansas is launching a small business rural campaign. The effort includes the “Meet the SBA” forum to be held from 1-3 p.m. Thursday, July 12, in training rooms A & B at the Donald W. Reynolds Community Services Center, 211 W. Third Ave.
The purpose is for SBA officials to meet with current and potential small business owners, area business leaders, SBA resource partners, mayors, county judges and educators, according to a news release.
The agency will introduce the U.S. Small Business Administration Arkansas District Office staff and the SBA programs and services for small businesses in Arkansas including: access to capital, business counseling, federal contracting and disaster assistance.
The event will include a public forum, presentations and questions and answers. Area mayors, county judges, SBA resource partners, and others are invited.

In Southeast Arkansas
The SBA will also host two other free meetings for people looking to start or grow a small business or their business community. Meetings will be held:
July 13 — 9-11 a.m. at the Monticello-Drew County Chamber of Commerce at Monticello.
July 13 — 1-3 p.m. at the Southeast Arkansas Public Library at Dumas.
The agency will discuss access to capital, business counseling and federal contracting opportunities.
