Mrs. Martha A. Lockett Pulling, 63, of Pine Bluff, passed away July 3, 2018. She was born December 5, 1954 to the late Sam Lockett and the late Thelma Holmes Lockett in Pine Bluff.
She graduated from Coleman High School class of 1972 and was employed at Ava Vending; JRMC and sub teacher Pine Bluff School District for a number of years until her retirement.
She is survived by her husband Henry Pulling,Jr. of Pine Bluff, sons, Jimmy Nance, Jr., and Tomlinson Dequette Nance of Sherwood, Arkansas, Ray Pulling of Pine Bluff and Henry Pulling III of Kansas City, Missouri, daughters: Donita Nance of North Little Rock, Arkansas, Katina Beasley of Pine Bluff, April Pulling of Jacksonville, Arkansas, and Shadra Amos of Memphis, Tennessee; sisters: Rosetta (Johnny) Ruth of Little Rock, and Samella(Maxey) Thomas of Pine Bluff, brother: Robert(Linda) Lockett of Pine Bluff; 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at1:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at The Rose Hill Missionary Baptist Church with the Reverend George Waters officiating. Interment will be at the Forest Lawn Cemetery by the P.K. Miller Mortuary.
Visitation is Monday from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the P.K. Mortuary.
Woodlawn - Curtis Lee Aud, age 83, of Woodlawn died Thursday, July 5, 2018. Mr. Aud was born on July 18, 1934 in Cleveland County, Arkansas, to the late Colonel Parmley and Arie Agnes Stover Aud. For many years, he was owner-operator of Aud's Station. In addition to his parents, Mr. Aud was preceded in death by his wife, Reba Faye Clemons Aud and one sister, JoAnn Miller.
He is survived by four sons, William and Diane Aud, Johnny Ray and Julie Aud, Robert Lee Aud, all of Woodlawn and Curtis Parmley and Ermae Aud of East End; two daughters, Janet Carol and Steve Gilbert of Marshfield, Wisconsin and Angie Kimsey of Woodlawn; thirteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; two brothers, Will and Dorothy Smith, Jim Smith, both of Woodlawn; brother-in-law, Don Miller of Woodlawn; two sisters, Joyce and Bob Campbell of Pine Bluff and Geneva and Leonard Peterson of Woodlawn.
Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, July 8, 2018 at Friendship Cemetery near Rison with Brother Charles Woolley officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Saturday, July 7, 2018 at the funeral home. Pallbearers are Shane Aud, David Aud, Jason Aud, Alan Aud, Joe Mosley and Raymond Aud. Star City - Dennis Dane Nicholson, Sr., 65 of Star City passed away Thursday, July 05, 2018 at U.A.M.S in Little Rock. He was born July 5, 1953 in Dumas to the late Carl C. and Grace Mae Miller Nickolson.
Also preceding him in death were 3 sisters and 3 brothers.
Survivors include 3 sons, Dennis “Dino” (Wendy) Nicholson, Jr., Joey (Brandy) Nicholson and Zachary Tyler Nicholson, all of Star City; 1 brother; 5 sisters; and 4 grandchildren.

Jerry C. Tooke, age 74, of White Hall, passed away Thursday, July 5, 2018, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center.
Born February 7, 1944, at Pine Bluff, he was a son of Mr. Edward Garner and Geraldine Faver Tooke. He was a graduate of Dollarway High School.
Mr. Tooke retired as a conductor at Cotton Belt Railroad (currently Union Pacific Railroad). He was also a former owner of the First Place Trophy Center.
He was a member of Central Baptist Church and was an Eagle Scout. He was a former Assistant State Commissioner for the Babe Ruth Little League, Inc. of Arkansas. Mr. Tooke enjoyed riding bulls in his youth and collecting baseball cards and coins. He also enjoyed going to the Coffee Shop and spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Becky Hall Tooke of White Hall whom he married October 6, 1963 in Pine Bluff; two sons, Troy Don Tooke of Mishawaka, Indiana, Ty Christian Tooke of White Hall, Arkansas; one daughter, Tammy Anne Funderburg of Grapevine, Arkansas; three grandsons, Christopher, Nathan and Britton; two granddaughters, Hayley and Emily; and a brother, Ray Tooke of White Hall, Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Clyde Tooke.
The memorial service will be Monday, July 9, 2018, 1:00 PM, in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son with Reverend James Watson officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Deterrio Rauls, 37, of Pine Bluff, Ark. passed away July 6, 2018 at Cornerstone Hospital in Little Rock, Ark. Service by Perry Funeral Home.
Barry Eugene Harris
Barry Eugene Harris was born January 1, 1953 to Juanita Tooke Harris and the late W N. Harris. He was converted at the age of 8 at the New Jerusalem Baptist Church under theo leadership of the late Rev. P. H. Henderson. He served as secretary of the Sunday School, member of the Youth Choir, and was active in the work of the church.
He graduated from Southeast High School in 1970 and graduated with honor from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff in 1974. He was elected to Who's Who Among Students in American Universities & Colleges in recognition of outstanding merit and accomplishment as a student.
After graduation he was employed at a teacher in Las Vegas, NV for 9 years before moving to Houston, Texas. He was employed at J. Frank Dobie High School in the Pasadena District until his passing. He spent more than 40 years in education and served in many capacities.
He was a member of New Home Family Worship where he served as an usher and later a deacon.
On June 22, 2018, Barry departed this life peacefully. A Celebration of Life was held on June 29 at Greenspoint Baptist Church, 11703 Walters Road in Houston. Interment was in Paradise Cemetery North by Ben Davis Funeral Home.
He is survived by his mother; sister, Deborah H. Daughtry of Houston; brother, Robert L. Harris of Elizabethtown, KY; uncle, Turner Tooke, Jr. (Cloteel)of Venice, CA; nephews, DeMarques Daughtry, Leon Harris, Quinn Harris; niece, Robyn H. Allen; cousins, Lynda N. Hatton, Wayne R. Nolen, Darryl C. Nolen, Gayle Johnson, Wendell Odom, and Turner Tooke, Ill; god sister, Denise Wanza; and a host of other relatives and friends.

His body will lie in-state Monday, 10:15a.m., until service.
