Rebecca Pittillo of White Hall is the new regional executive for South Arkansas at Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield.


Pittillo had been the executive director of Jefferson Regional Medical Center.


“I am the eyes, ears and voice for south Arkansas, building and maintaining strong relationships with physicians, hospitals and other healthcare providers, all while keeping my focus on the delivery of affordable, quality healthcare to our members,” Pittillo said in a news release.


Pittillo will work with Arkansas Blue Cross representatives in south Arkansas to improve the health, financial security and peace of mind of members and communities, according to the release.


She has experience in communications, marketing, philanthropy, education and healthcare leadership. She was named the 2017 Pine Bluff Regional Chamber of Commerce Business Person of the Year.


Pittillo earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in education from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock with, according to the release.


Pittillo serves on the boards of the West Pine Bluff Rotary Club, the Pine Bluff Area Community Foundation, Southeast Arkansas College and White Hall School District.


She is the communications chair of United Way of Southeast Arkansas and serves on the board of Hope Rising Children’s Home at Leogane, Haiti.


Pittillo and her husband, Chad, have one son, Isaac.
