The Strachota Senior Center, 801 E. Eighth Ave., a program of the Area Agency on Aging of Southeast Arkansas, offers lunch at 11:45 a.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday and at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday and Thursday. Coffee is served every morning and popcorn is available. Hot meals cost $2 for seniors 60 years old and older. Meals are $5 for those under 60.

Beef spaghetti sauce, spaghetti noodles, broccoli, Texas bread, fresh fruit and milk.


Tuesday, Sept. 11


BBQ pork rib patty, ranch beans, carrot slaw, hamburger bun, hot peaches and milk.


Wednesday, Sept. 12


Chicken and dressing, cut yams, French green beans, wheat bread, cranberry applesauce and milk.


Thursday, Sept. 13


Salisbury beef with brown gravy, whipped potatoes, turnip greens, corn bread, chocolate chip cookies and milk.


Friday, Sept. 14


Honey mustard chicken, macaroni and cheese, green and red pepper, dinner rolls and fresh banana and milk.
