The Strachota Senior Center, 801 E. Eighth Ave., a program of the Area Agency on Aging of Southeast Arkansas, offers lunch at 11:45 a.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday and at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday and Thursday. Coffee is served every morning and popcorn is available. Hot meals cost $2 for seniors 60 years old and older. Meals are $5 for those under 60.

Sausage and pinto beans, parslied rice, cabbage, cornbread, fresh fruit and milk.


Tuesday, Sept. 18


Meatloaf with tomato, gravy, whipped potatoes, glazed beets, white bread, peanut butter cookie and milk.

Homestyle chicken and rice, herbed green peas, parslied carrots, dinner rolls, fresh banana and milk.


Thursday, Sept. 20


Sausage, onion and peppers, Hawaiian baked beans, green beans, hot dog bun, strawberry fluff and milk.


Friday, Sept. 21


Hamburger patty, lettuce, tomato, onion, crispy cubed potatoes, hamburger bun, apple raisin compote, mayo/mustard and milk.
