Stuttgart-based Lennox announced Tuesday a factory-wide wage increase along with plans to implement a new, multi-tier career development framework for job roles throughout the factory, according to a company news release.
“This announcement both reinforces the company’s commitment to the Stuttgart community and its mission of providing Lennox employees with a great place to work,” the news release said.
In addition to wage increases, Lennox added additional job roles to its factory career framework in Stuttgart. Lennox made this change to ensure that employees in the Stuttgart factory are receiving the opportunity to build skills and advance their careers through cross-functional and specialized training.
“Lennox has operated in Stuttgart for 44 years providing thousands of jobs to the residents of the local community,” said Elliot Zimmer, vice president and general manager of Lennox Commercial.
“Today’s announcement illustrates the commitment we have to Lennox employees by providing highly competitive wages and more career development opportunities through training and the creation of additional cross-functional career paths.”
The wage increase was given to all hourly Lennox employees in Stuttgart and took effect on Oct. 1.
“We have employees who have worked at our factory in Stuttgart for over 25 years. Many of these tenured employees have worked their way up from entry-level positions to management roles,” said Clifton Morris, general plant manager, Lennox Stuttgart.
“Today, we are excited to offer even more opportunity to grow here in Stuttgart with the addition of new job roles. Any employee who wants to grow with Lennox now has even more opportunities to do that.”
