The annual University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff announced winning entries of the UAPB Homecoming Parade held Nov. 3.

The overall winners were: first place – Me Me’s Learning Academy; second place – Tyson Foods; and third place – Ravens Football. Winners were judged on design, construction, creativity and effectiveness in use of the theme, “Golden Time of Year,” according to a news release.

The parade featured several corvettes carrying homecoming queens from several area K-12 schools. Participants also included elected officials as well as UAPB Chancellor Laurence B. Alexander and his wife, Veronica.

The graduating class of 1948 celebrated their 70th reunion as they traveled the parade route in a carriage pulled by Clydesdale horses. Additional floats in the parade featured the 2018-19 royal court, Miss Alumni, Dianne’s Adult Daycare and others.
