Improvements for the intersection of U.S. 270 and U.S. 167B in Sheridan require a temporary lane closure, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) officials.
Weather permitting, crews will begin work at 8 a.m. Monday, Nov. 19, and will last until approximately 5:30 p.m. The eastbound lane of U.S. 270 from South Main Street to U.S. 167B will be closed.
All through traffic, and right turning traffic, onto U.S. 167B will need to turn on south Main, then turn left on Pine Street to get back on the highway. This detour will be clearly marked by signs to show drives the way. Traffic will be controlled with signage and traffic barrels.
Drivers should exercise caution when approaching and traveling through all highway work zones. Additional travel information can be found at IDriveArkansas.com or ARDOT.gov. You can also follow us on Twitter @myARDOT.
