The Jefferson County Retired Teachers Association will hold its luncheon meeting at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, at the Donald W. Reynolds Community Services Building, 211 W. Third Ave.


The cost of the meal is $6 and reservations must be made for lunch, according to a news release.


The theme of the meeting is Pine Bluff Going Forward and the special guest will be Mayor Shirley Washington.


Members are asked to bring non-perishable food, canned goods or items such as bath soap, wash cloths, dish towels, Kleenex, sanitizer and dish washing liquid. The items will be donated to CASA Women’s Shelter.


Princella Gardner is the president of the local retired teachers association.
