Get in the holiday spirit with The Imagination Library which is located at the Donald W. Reynolds Community Service Center from 12-1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 12.

Stop by for refreshments and learn more about Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. Enjoy the Holiday Open House and participate in free gift giveaways provided by Friends of The Imagination Library in Jefferson County, according to a press release.

The Imagination Library in this area is sponsored by YouthPartners, a United Way partner agency, and local donors who contribute to “Giving the Gift of Books” to children beginning at birth through age 5.

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is an international free book program for children. Each Jefferson County child under the age of 5 years old is eligible to receive a free book a month in the mail. There is considerable research to support the importance of early literacy and how it greatly increases a child’s later success in school.

We are grateful to all of you who support this effort, the press release said. Details: call 870-534-8251 or email:youthpartners@pbreynolscenter.org. Or visit www.imaginationlibrary.com
