Pine Bluff School District officials held their annual Spring Health Fair at The Pines mall recently. The event included health and community services information, screenings, door prizes speakers and live entertainment.

Pine Bluff School District officials held their annual Spring Health Fair at The Pines mall recently. The event included health and community services information, screenings, door prizes speakers and live entertainment.


The purpose was to increase health awareness through education, prevention and community resources, spokeswoman R. Williams said in a news release.


The theme was "Spring into Good Health!" This event was co-sponsored by district’s Student Health and Special Services, Volunteers in Public Schools and the Parent Center.


Community participants included the district bands and drill teams, Jefferson Regional Medical Center, Pine Bluff Arsenal, Arkansas Department of Human Services, Jefferson County Cooperative Extension Service, American Heart Association, Nurse Family Partnership, ACCESS Inc., Arkansas Children’s Dental Outreach, Jefferson County Health Department, American Red Cross, Pine Bluff Police Department, Pine Bluff Fire & Emergency Services Department.
